We often have a love-hate relationship with our chapters and other components (think SIGs, councils, Cmty of Interest, section…). Like it or not, they probably aren’t going away. And there are at least four of us who think that’s a good thing. We know that having the right component structure with the right support is a secret to maximizing member engagement. So let’s talk! Our pack of SMEs (subject matter experts) include an association CEO, two cool peeps who turned the tables and created a collaborate chapter model, and one who’s an executive director for a chapter and who has done research on the chapters and future models:
**Sharon Kneebone--Executive Director, National Society for Histotechnology
**Lindsay Currie--Director of Stakeholder Engagement, Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS)
**Wes Carr--Senior Manager, Chapter and Volunteer Relations, Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS)
**Peggy Hoffman--President, Mariner Management
They will be there to respond to any chapter/component questions and challenges that attendees are facing and want to discuss. No area is off limits. We hope you can join us for what is guaranteed to be a great conversation.
