Well a few of us say the Super Moon last night (11/14/2016) and it was amazing.

The next Super Moon will be November 25, 2034.  YES please look at the year.  We are planning well in advance and it is a Saturday night.....

We will meet at the Acacia picnic area before sunset and do an evening SUPER MOON light paddle at Canyon Lake.

We will need to check the wind predictions but we wanted you to save the date....

If you need a loaner, you will need to check with us in 2034.

Please contact us if you need a loaner - they go fast as we do not charge to lend out).  PLEASE SIGN UP AND ASK FOR LOANER equipment. We will respond if we have a loaner for you.

If you have your own equipment then great.   PLEASE POST IS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT!

While Newbies are always welcome and we do instruct  - This is NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS or people who do not paddle on a regular basis.  W e plan to be out there for at least a few hours.

If you are bringing your own kayak and it is an inflatable please let us know so we can try to pair you up with someone else who is using an inflatable as they are usually slower.

THIS WILL BE PADDLING IN THE DARK so we prefer people with some experience.  Again it is a super moon but we will be paddling in the dark.

If your not sure where to go, we will have a carpool leaving from Apache Junction no later then 45 minutes prior to the trail head time shown above

If there is interest, we can set this up in 18 years for the next Super Moon.  :)

ALSO, if your driving your own vehicle you will need either a Tonto day pass or a Tonto Annual pass or one of the National Parks Passes

Required:  Even if you are using a loaner, you need to bring a headlamp or something you can use so we can see each other.

As we will be paddling in the dark, we will buddy up, 2-3 paddlers so no one is alone...

Please write with questions....
