This low impact class incorporates a full body stretch using movements that flow smoothly to increase flexibility, decrease muscle tension, develop core strength, and improve muscular balance. Stretching has the potential to decrease injury by increasing the blood and nutrient supply to the muscles, thereby possibly decreasing muscle soreness. Stretching can also calm the mind, provide a mental break, and give your body a chance to recharge.
No prior fitness, dance, or flexibility experience required. Wear loose, comfortable clothing (work-out attire) that allows for a full range of motion. Sneakers or grip socks are recommended.
